Here is a case of a customer seeing a picture of a ring that she loved. However she really wanted something unique and wanted to you stones she already had.The first thing we had to do was work on the layout. I designed the ring rough and then did a 2 dimensional layout.
Once we agreed on a layout it was just a matter of details like the shape of the rails and the placement of granulation.
The customer and I went back and fourth untill we got it just right.
The cad images are great but dont do this ring justice at all. Not even a Picture can do 22 kt gold justice.
